Day 3 - Relaxing, Coral Reef and Epcot Christmas!

Disney Day 3. December 2, 2007
Chill day!
We have been going and going and going…we thought it best to relax and enjoy being. A Disney vacation can be packed with plans and schedules…I like somewhat of a schedule, but relaxation is a must. Its vacation, right? So we wake up whenever we feel like it ☺ and head to Old Port Royale for Mickey Waffles. LOVE me some Mickey waffles…and I don’t thinks it’s the taste so much as the fact that the waffles are Mickey Mouse heads. Haha Tim of course gets the eggs and bacon type meal…I am more kid stylie and I shared with Tyler. When we were finished, we filled up our refill-able mugs and head back to change.
We head over to the pool…not the main one with the cannons and slide, the one right next to our room. It was practically empty and closeby ☺ We suited Ty up and swam for a good while.

I have more pool pictures, I guess I have not gotten them off my smaller camera. Coming soon!
After swimming and relaxing, we take a nap, all 3 of us. Tonite we go to Epcot and our special dinner at The Coral Reef.
I get up first and get ready while Tim and Ty are still sleeping… I wake up Tim and when we are all ready we wake Ty. He woke up with the biggest smile. I love his wake up smile. It makes all your troubles go away. Not that I had any in Disney World… his face is so bright though and it is the best feeling in the whole world.
So we get to Epcot, we got a fantastic parking spot as people were heading out about this time. We get to the Coral Reef and check in. After a short wait, we are seated, right next to the glass. Our server was real sweet and said Happy Anniversary (hey, we are still in the 10th year ☺ we can still celebrate). We order and I get the fabulous “Year of a Million Dreams Glo-tini with a glowcube” of course.

We order and right after we get our drinks the diver comes down to welcome Tyler and congratulate us.

If you recall, the last time, I got the seafood soufle and it was awful. Needless to say, it is no longer on the menu! Haha

Tim go the Alaskan King Crab Legs

and I got the strip steak once again (Ty shared) Doesn’t it look like something Fred Flinstone would order! Good LORD!

Tyler also got the Kids Pizza.
During dessert, another Scuba Diver came by…he waved to us and played with Tyler,…picked up the shells and somehow make them puff into a heart shape on the glass. It was awesome. I missed the shot of the shell heart, but here is the nice Scuba guy!

The whole time, Scuba people would swim by and wave…Tyler LOVED it!
For dessert, Tim got the Butterscotch Crème Brulee

After dinner, we headed out to explore Epcot. Tyler and I rode Nemo again and LOVED it! We also saw Turtle Talk with Crush and it was hilarious! So clever. We laughed out loud.
We headed over to the countries next to see all the Christmas decorations. First stop UK of course ☺ Tim got our traditional beers while Ty and I went to see the UK Papa Noel. Here is a picture of Ty with him. He was a pretty big Papa! Haha

We ventured around to America where Santa Claus was with Mrs. Claus. We stood in line with the Candlelight Processional happening right behind us. Such beautiful singing and the whole setup was gorgeous. You really felt the Christmas Spirit. We were the first waiting on Stand-by to see Santa. I was not worried, for some reason I knew we would be able to. The family behind us was funny. They were New Yorkers with strong accents and they were wheeling and dealing to try to get into see Santa. They were cracking me up. The mom was overwhelmed and teary. They were really nice. We made it up to see Santa and he was so sweet, and Mrs. Claus held Tyler and he told them he wanted Choo Choo Trains. Check out this precious picture!

We watched the Choo Choo Trains in from of America and then visited the trains in Germany. We were getting pretty tired, so we decided to watch Illuminations from our resort again in our PJs ☺
Such a wonderful day and it was only Day 3!

Next up..
MGM, Kona, and the MK at night, yup, that means more tears!
