Part 2 of 3 of Day 5

Its off to the Magic Kingdom! We are on our way to the Crystal Palace for a character meal with Tigger, Pooh, Piglet and Eyeore! So excited! Here we are with the Monorail car all to ourselves…

After that, it is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We had special tickets for that. The park closes at 7 I think and the Christmas Party starts after that, We head over to the Crystal Palace. I pulled something in my back, either practicing my dance or from the bike ride. It was this horrible pain but it was not gonna stop me. Haha Tim said I was walking like I had a stick…anyway you get the picture. It hurt. We went to Crystal Palace. It was beautiful inside.

We were real close to other tables, that was a tiny bit uncomfy, but in Disney, most everyone is friendly. Our table has this little heart on it to celebrate our anniversary. Hey, 10 years is a big deal to us! Haha We are almost at 11!
ACE_0130heart
This was a buffet, but good stuff. I went up and fixed Ty’s plate…some chicken nuggets of course, pizza…Ty style. I threw some veggies on his plate, but I didn’t enforce this as we were in Disney. Haha We got settled and waited for the characters.

When we were done, I snapped a couple more pictures, and realized I was really in pain, but I cannot miss the party...
I went to the little first aid place and got some motrin and it was not going away. So Tim went in and got me some more motrin just in case. I would have toughed it out, but people were looking at me funny because the more I tried to walk normal, the worse it looked. I went ahead and went back to first aid and laid flat for about 15 minutes (which felt like an eternity!) . It seemed to get a little better, or maybe positive thinking...so I ventured back out into the Disney magic.
....
We are STILL in the MK, why?
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party...thats why?!
I will have to part 3 that one :)
Stay tuned!

Disney Day 5 Boats and Bikes and relaxing...Part 1

Disney Day 5 – December 4, 2007
So today, we know we will be out real late, so we decide to enjoy the resort in the morning. We have Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tonite ☺ So we wake up and Ty tells us…
“I want some Mickey waffles!” haha It was precious. So, his wish was our command! Haha We went to Old Port Royale for some breakfast. We talked about what we were gonna do and thought it would be really cool for Tyler and Daddy to ride in the little motorboat while Mommy took some pictures. When we told Tyler, he was SOOOO excited! We went to the marina and checked it out. Tyler and Tim got all suited up in the life vests and got in the little boat. It was adorable.
Here are some pictures.

After the boat ride, they had Surray Bikes, so we decided to go for a bike ride around the resort. Such a beautiful day!

Ty rode in the front and rang the bell when we had to let people know we were coming. It was tough for him to ring cause it was behind him…
But he was cute trying…

After our bike ride, we got ready to go to the pool. Ty and Tim went first, and I worked out on my Bodyjam class (I had a lot of practice to catch up on) and when I was finished,
I met them at the pool. There was no one there! It was so nice. We had the whole pool to ourselves!
After our swim, we went back to the room to get some rest and a nap for Ty. We had a busy night ahead of us!
We had reservations at the Crystal Palace to meet Tigger, Pooh, Piglet, and Eyeore…after that! A Christmas PARTY! Mickey’s Very merry one!

Up next!

Disney Day 4 - MGM, Kona, and MK

Disney Day 4 – December 3, 2007
Today we venture to MGM Studios…this will be the last visit where it is still MGM as they are changing their name to Disney Hollywood Studios. Ahhh the memories. OK, name change is no big deal…it will still be the same park, and maybe even better. YUP, still crowded, but it is a beautiful day. Are we really in the month of December? This is crazy! Its December 3rd! We are in summer clothes and it feels so good! We walk in and I take Tim’s room key to get fast passes. Tim is not crazy about roller coasters anymore, and luckily, Tyler is his “get out of Tower of Terror jail free” card. ;) I ran ahead and got one for ToT and one for the Rock and Roller Coaster. We had some lunch, and it was not crazy crowded yet, so we had a nice quiet table. A nice warm breeze. It felt good. We walked over to go see the Playhouse Disney show. On the way we saw the High School Musical street show. Very cute, and sadly I knew some of the songs. Haha We leave the crowd and head over to Playhouse Disney Live. We didn’t wait in line too long and went in and sat close to the front. This is where you see the lack of considerate parenting skills come into play. I cannot stand it when parents allow children to be rude, selfish and pushy. I held my tongue and luckily the cast members intervened. Anyway, the show starts and it was a bit disappointing. It was hard for the little ones to see the puppets. Here is a pict of Ty's view. The puppets are tiny and pop up just above the stage.
ACE_0002PDLIVE
It was also a bit dated, Bear in the Big Blue House…and Stanley. No... we want Little Einsteins, and Handy Manny…haha Well, I believe this month, the show is being redone and set to open with all the new stuff in a month or so. So I let it go. Glad we got to see it and Ty loved the bubbles and confetti that flew down. It was cute, but I am surprised it lasted that long. Maybe where we were sitting was bad, who knows. The host was adorable and fun. After the show…we go to the character meet and greet. We spot Handy Manny first…Ty gets SO excited! He waited so patiently.

Next was Annie and Leo from Little Einsteins,

and then JoJo and Goliath.

While we were waiting, this Spanish family pushed a bunch of us out of the way. Literally pushed Ty and me. I was fuming, but the family in front of us said something. They of course pulled the “don’t speak English” card and played it off. I am sorry, they knew what they did was wrong. I let it go, didn’t want to stress, but I thought the Mom in front of me was gonna freak out. I just told her, let it go, they will be out of our way, they might have been more obnoxious behind us. She seemed content to know I felt her pain. When we met back up with Tim…he said, “Right before you came out, this Spanish girl pushed her way through and tried to throw her trash in our stroller and when she saw me, threw it on the ground instead.” No doubt she was with the same rude group. Where do these people come from to act like such animals? I guess lack of manners and lack of respect float everywhere. After this crazy excitement…I was off to ride Tower of Terror and RocknRoller coaster. Tim and Tyler set out to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody. This is from our photopass CD

image065
I walked right on both rides and met back up with Tim and Ty at the Pizza Planet. Perfect timing ☺ We decided to head out and go get some rest. We caught a photopass guy on the way out…

Next, we had ressies for Kona Café at the Poly.
It was so exciting to be at the Poly once again! We spent our honeymoon here and it is out favorite resort. Kona has become one of our favorite restaurants. Really good food and just enough noise to drown out a playful toddler. ☺ We bought Ty a ukulele while we were waiting at the gift shop downstairs. We were really early, so we knew we would have to wait ;)
Here is a Poly Christmas Tree…

We had plans to go to the Magic Kingdom afterwards to see the fireworks. We got our seats and ordered our meals.
We both got the Kona Crab Cakes (they tasted very close to B-more crabcakes!) Come to find out, the head chef was from Baltimore. We met him and he was so nice.
ACE_0026konacrabcakes
We both got the Filet too, but I didn’t get a picture. We got dessert too. I ordered the Kona Kiddie Cone for Ty and me and Tim got the Banana Crème Brulee.
ACE_0027konacone
We met this nice Mom and son. They were so sweet to Tyler and was very impressed with his guitar playing. She could not believe he was 2. It made us feel good. We were proud. Our little rocker.
When we were finished, we rode the monorail over to the Magic Kingdom. I could not wait to see the castle all lit up.
OH MY GOSH. Pictures do not do this justice. It is breathtaking. I got teary once again. haha We then went over to Small World and Tyler and I rode that. next, we watched the fireworks and right where we were standing, it was one of my favorites Tinkerbell!!! She flew right over our heads from the top of the castle. The fireworks were beautiful and Jimny Cricket was all "Be careful what you wish for...it just might come true..." and at this point holding back the tears. haha I was not the only one :) I kissed Ty's little head and he said "I love you Mommy". it was a moment. After the show, Tim got a call from his work buddy Eric and his wife April who were staying in Disney too. We met up with them and talked for a bit. We got some popcorn and sodas and waited for the crowd to die down a bit. It was nice to see them again. April has got to be one of the sweetest people ever. I enjoyed talking to her. Tim and Eric talked work and Disney Vacation Club. :) A DVC is our next goal. We rode back to the Poly and on the way out I looked at the DVC kiosk once again. Sigh. haha The lady noticed me and we had a nice chat. I know we will get one one day. I love me some Disney. haha
Here is a picture of the castle all lit up...and blurry...haha but you get the idea.

Day 3 - Relaxing, Coral Reef and Epcot Christmas!

Disney Day 3. December 2, 2007
Chill day!
We have been going and going and going…we thought it best to relax and enjoy being. A Disney vacation can be packed with plans and schedules…I like somewhat of a schedule, but relaxation is a must. Its vacation, right? So we wake up whenever we feel like it ☺ and head to Old Port Royale for Mickey Waffles. LOVE me some Mickey waffles…and I don’t thinks it’s the taste so much as the fact that the waffles are Mickey Mouse heads. Haha Tim of course gets the eggs and bacon type meal…I am more kid stylie and I shared with Tyler. When we were finished, we filled up our refill-able mugs and head back to change.
We head over to the pool…not the main one with the cannons and slide, the one right next to our room. It was practically empty and closeby ☺ We suited Ty up and swam for a good while.
Here is a picture of TyTy showing his muscles…
ACE_0003sommadis

I have more pool pictures, I guess I have not gotten them off my smaller camera. Coming soon!
After swimming and relaxing, we take a nap, all 3 of us. Tonite we go to Epcot and our special dinner at The Coral Reef.
I get up first and get ready while Tim and Ty are still sleeping… I wake up Tim and when we are all ready we wake Ty. He woke up with the biggest smile. I love his wake up smile. It makes all your troubles go away. Not that I had any in Disney World… his face is so bright though and it is the best feeling in the whole world.
So we get to Epcot, we got a fantastic parking spot as people were heading out about this time. We get to the Coral Reef and check in. After a short wait, we are seated, right next to the glass. Our server was real sweet and said Happy Anniversary (hey, we are still in the 10th year ☺ we can still celebrate). We order and I get the fabulous “Year of a Million Dreams Glo-tini with a glowcube” of course.
ACE_0015glowtini
We order and right after we get our drinks the diver comes down to welcome Tyler and congratulate us.
ACE_0020Diver1

The restaurant claps, we turn red, get teary again and blush a bit. Loving every minute!
We get our appetizers. Tim got the New England Cod Cake,
ACE_0022crab
I played it safe with a Caesar Salad.
ACE_0023salad
If you recall, the last time, I got the seafood soufle and it was awful. Needless to say, it is no longer on the menu! Haha

Tim go the Alaskan King Crab Legs
ACE_0026claws
and I got the strip steak once again (Ty shared) Doesn’t it look like something Fred Flinstone would order! Good LORD!
ACE_0027steak
Tyler also got the Kids Pizza.
During dessert, another Scuba Diver came by…he waved to us and played with Tyler,…picked up the shells and somehow make them puff into a heart shape on the glass. It was awesome. I missed the shot of the shell heart, but here is the nice Scuba guy!
ACE_0029scubaguy
The whole time, Scuba people would swim by and wave…Tyler LOVED it!
For dessert, Tim got the Butterscotch Crème Brulee
ACE_0032creme
and I got the famous Chocolate Wave with my fave Gran Marnier.
ACE_0028wavecake
After dinner, we headed out to explore Epcot. Tyler and I rode Nemo again and LOVED it! We also saw Turtle Talk with Crush and it was hilarious! So clever. We laughed out loud.
We headed over to the countries next to see all the Christmas decorations. First stop UK of course ☺ Tim got our traditional beers while Ty and I went to see the UK Papa Noel. Here is a picture of Ty with him. He was a pretty big Papa! Haha
ACE_0037TypapaNoel
We ventured around to America where Santa Claus was with Mrs. Claus. We stood in line with the Candlelight Processional happening right behind us. Such beautiful singing and the whole setup was gorgeous. You really felt the Christmas Spirit. We were the first waiting on Stand-by to see Santa. I was not worried, for some reason I knew we would be able to. The family behind us was funny. They were New Yorkers with strong accents and they were wheeling and dealing to try to get into see Santa. They were cracking me up. The mom was overwhelmed and teary. They were really nice. We made it up to see Santa and he was so sweet, and Mrs. Claus held Tyler and he told them he wanted Choo Choo Trains. Check out this precious picture!
ACE_0040santaMSTy
We watched the Choo Choo Trains in from of America and then visited the trains in Germany. We were getting pretty tired, so we decided to watch Illuminations from our resort again in our PJs ☺
Such a wonderful day and it was only Day 3!

Next up..
MGM, Kona, and the MK at night, yup, that means more tears!
