We woke up, nice and early, and loaded up the car. On the way our, we saw a new hotel, Comfort Inn Suites with a grand opening, and checked that out. We decided to stay there on the way home. We got a nice deal too. We were on our way! We hit the road and off to Florida we went.
We got to the Welcome Center in Fla and got our OJ (Tim got grapefruit juice again! Haha)
Ty was so excited, He wanted to stay there and play.
We convinced him to come along, grabbed some pamplets and headed out to take some pictures. All of a sudden, this woman comes running out with a bull horn thing that she was blowing at these people. At first I thought she was crazy, and wanted to get to the car as soon as I could! She chased these men all the way to their car and they got into their brand new Cadillac and sped off…then she started to going after another group of men. Tim thought maybe they had stolen her purse or something. I put Tyler in the car while he went to ask if she was ok. Evidently they were involved in some suspicious behavior and wanted them to leave ASAP. Freaky! So we got in the car and headed on our way…This trip was already getting exciting! Haha
We get to Jacksonville and I left a message for my cousin…I wanted to see her while I was in her town, but she had a busy day. I will see her at Christmas.
We finally got to St. Augustine after our GPS took us a round about way. I think we drove through a dangerous section…scary vibe, seedy looking people looking strung out…we got through it, hit the Target down there, and got to Jerry (Tim’s brother) and Judy ’s house. They have such a nice home.

We hung out for a bit, had some lunch and went to some surf shops. Tim bought some sunglasses that looked awesome. Judy made us a delicious dinner and we drank some wine and yummy mojitos! YUMMMM!
We woke up the next day and went to the San Subastian Winery for a tour and wine tasting. We had a great time and Ty ate lots of crackers. Haha We left there and had some lunch at the A1A Brewery in downtown St. Augustine. After that, we went to the merry go round where Ty rode a horse with his Aunt Judy,

played on the playground there and rode one more time. He had a blast! We went to the beach (drove onto it,)
so I could get some photos of Ty on the beach. Here is a picture of our car on the beach.

After all that, we headed back. We were exhausted! Tim and I ran to Target again, because smarty me packed for winter…and well it was shorts wearing weather! Then we brought Ty back some nuggets. We got Tyler ready for bed, and Jerry and Judy watched Ty while Tim and I went on a Ghost Walking Tour that Jerry had gotten us some tickets for. That was a lot of fun. Tim was all about it…he got into character as a “Ghosthunter” like the show. Haha He videotaped EVERYTHING! I took pictures. We got to one area where the tourguide said their was a lot of activity. Tim heard footsteps, like a soldier and came booking out and ripped his pants on a pole that was sticking out of the ground. So much fun!
We got back and packed up a little. We got ready the next morning to go. Judy gave me a little bottle of mojito mix! YUM!
We said our teary goodbye and hit the road.
